Who runs this site

Capture of Sound is a teaching resource for A-Level Music Technology (Edexcel Component 4, topic 1.2), operated by Mike Lehnert as part of Music Tech Studio. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), Music Tech Studio is the data controller for anything collected through this site.

What this site collects

Nothing personal.Capture of Sound does not use analytics, advertising, third-party scripts, or any form of tracking. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server-side database. The site does not write to your browser’s storage (no cookies, no localStorage).

Cookies

Capture of Sound sets no cookies of its own. Vercel, our hosting provider, may set a single security cookie for DDoS protection — this is considered strictly necessary under PECR and does not require consent.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have a concern, contact the address above. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If the site starts collecting anything in future, this notice will be updated and the “last updated” date above will change.
